  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes with herbs
  • 1 cup bell peppers, chopped (any color)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil and sauté onions and garlic until translucent (approx. 5 minutes).
  3. Add ground turkey; cook until browned (7-10 minutes), stirring occasionally.
  4. Stir in bell peppers, diced tomatoes, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper; simmer for about 5 minutes.
  5. Mix in half of the cheddar cheese until melted; transfer mixture to a greased baking dish.
  6. Top with remaining cheddar cheese and bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown.
