Tuna noodle casserole is the ultimate comfort food that brings warmth and nostalgia to your table.   • 12 oz wide egg noodles
  • 2 cans (5 oz each) quality canned tuna in water or oil, drained
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 cup frozen peas (no need to thaw)
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar and mozzarella blend)
  • 1 cup seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp dried parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the egg noodles in salted boiling water until al dente, according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the drained tuna, cream of mushroom soup, milk, peas, thyme, and parsley. Mix well.
  4. Gently fold the cooked noodles into the tuna mixture, followed by half of the shredded cheese.
  5. Transfer the mixture into a greased 9×13 baking dish and spread evenly.
  6. Top with remaining cheese and sprinkle with breadcrumbs.
  7. Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden brown on top.
