  • 2 tbsp Kosher Salt
  • 1 tsp Freshly Cracked Black Pepper
  • 4 Garlic Cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp Fresh Rosemary, chopped
  • 2 tbsp Fresh Thyme, chopped
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 cup Low-Sodium Beef Broth

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C).
  2. Season the prime rib roast generously with salt and pepper.
  3. In a bowl, combine minced garlic, rosemary, and thyme; rub this mixture all over the roast.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the roast on all sides for about 3-4 minutes until browned.
  5. Place the seared roast in a roasting pan and pour beef broth around it.
  6. Insert a meat thermometer into the thickest part of the roast. Roast at 450°F for 20 minutes, then reduce temperature to 325°F (163°C) until it reaches an internal temperature of 130°F (54°C) for medium-rare doneness.
