  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley (optional) for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a pot, combine the long-grain rice and chicken broth. Bring to a boil, then cover and simmer for about 15 minutes until all liquid is absorbed.
  3. While the rice cooks, melt the butter in a frying pan over medium heat. Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until fragrant.
  4. Fluff the cooked rice with a fork and mix in the melted butter and half of the shredded cheese.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish, spreading it evenly before topping with the remaining cheese.
