  • 3 cups fresh broccoli florets
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1/2 cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prep your ingredients by chopping garlic and cutting chicken into bite-sized pieces. Rinse broccoli florets under cold water.
  2. Heat sesame oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken pieces and sauté until golden brown and cooked through (7–10 minutes).
  3. Add minced garlic to the skillet and cook until fragrant (about 1 minute).
  4. Toss in broccoli florets and stir-fry for 3–4 minutes until bright green yet crisp.
  5. In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, chicken broth, cornstarch slurry, salt, and pepper. Pour over the stir-fry and simmer for another 2–3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  6. Serve hot over rice or noodles.
