  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
  • 1/2 cup plain breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 small onion (finely chopped)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1/4 cup chili sauce
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp dried oregano

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, onion, garlic powder, and oregano; mix until just combined.
  3. Form mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Bake for about 20 minutes or until browned and firm to touch.
  5. Meanwhile, in a saucepan over medium heat, combine BBQ sauce, chili sauce, brown sugar, soy sauce, and cider vinegar; stir until simmering.
  6. Add baked meatballs to the sauce; toss gently to coat and simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
