  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Pat chicken breasts dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt 1 tbsp of butter. Sear the chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and cover with foil.
  3. In the same skillet, melt remaining butter, then add minced garlic; sauté until fragrant.
  4. Stir in heavy cream and chicken broth, scraping any browned bits from the skillet. Add Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  5. Return the chicken to the skillet, allowing it to soak in the sauce for about 3-4 minutes on low heat.
  6. Sprinkle chopped parsley before serving.
