Labneh is a creamy, tangy Middle Eastern yogurt spread that transforms any meal into a delightful experience. Instructions

  1. Combine yogurt and salt in a mixing bowl until smooth.
  2. Line a sieve with cheesecloth or a clean kitchen towel, then pour the yogurt mixture into it. Let it drain in the fridge for at least 12 hours.
  3. After draining, check the consistency; if thicker labneh is desired, let it drain longer.
  4. Optionally mix in fresh herbs or spices.
  5. Serve in a dish, drizzle with olive oil, and enjoy with pita or veggies.
