Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of cooking water, then drain the pasta.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, warm the olive oil. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant but not browned.
  3. Add the drained pasta to the skillet and toss gently to coat with the garlic-infused oil.
  4. Sprinkle in red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. If needed, add reserved pasta water gradually for desired consistency.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in freshly grated parmesan cheese until melted and creamy. Adjust seasoning before serving.
