  • 1 cup granulated sugar, divided
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine sliced peaches with ½ cup of sugar and sprinkle with cinnamon. Set aside.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, remaining sugar, and salt. Gradually add milk and melted butter until just combined.
  4. Pour half of the batter into a greased baking dish; spread the peach mixture evenly over it. Pour the remaining batter on top.
  5. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly.
